The Honeywell Home 40003916-001 Powerhead enables a complete powerhead to be replaced without the need to drain down.
On older valves (pre-date 1987) the head cannot be replaced - valves made after 1987 can be identified by a bump on the metal case.
This is a 6-wire valve- When replacing a 5 wire actuator simply isolate the extra white wire
